Each time a part is removed from a car and installed on another car one less new parts needs to be manufactured. Waste oil can be burned to heat buildings in specially designed non-polluting furnaces.

Recycling Reduces Pollution

    Each time a vehicle is properly recycled many harmful substances are removed from the environment. Ozone depleting freon is recovered and reused from air conditioning systems. Antifreeze is recycled for re-use. Lead from batteries is returned to manufacturers to be used in new batteries. All other fluids are captured for reuse or recycling before they end up in the environment.
